The Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation and the Wente Foundation for Arts Education presented checks to the beneficiaries of the 2019 Livermore Valley Wine Auction at a special reception at Murrieta’s Well Winery on January 15, 2020. WFAE is pleased to support Livermore Shakespeare on their mission to expand their outstanding “So Wise So Young” program for second and eighth graders in the Livermore Valley. We are also pleased to support the Livermore Science and Society Center, or Quest, in their quest to create mobile exhibits to inspire local students.
The leaders of each of the beneficiary organizations shared their stories about how they are positively impacting the lives of children in the East Bay. The organizations expressed appreciation for the grants, and the Wine Auction team expressed appreciation for the hard work of each of the beneficiary organizations. The money raised at the 25th annual Livermore Valley Wine Auction will also help Agape Villages to provide high-quality services for foster children; the Boys and Girls Club of Tracy to continue their summer program for under-served kids; and Camp Phoenix to continue to offer summer camp for low-income East Bay kids.
